An international research team, led by archaeologist Julio Mercader of the University of Calgary, Canada, said Monday it had uncovered the hammers, dated to that time, in the West African country Ivory Coast. It would be the earliest known use of tools by chimpanzees.
The hammers were used to crack nuts, a behavior still seen in chimps in that area, the researchers said in a paper in the online edition of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

HOT OFF THE PRESS!! SUS-SUS FEATURES NUDE SHOT IN PROFILE!!!
It has come to our attention that Sus-Sus, who disapproves vehemently of public displays of 'slutwear' and nudity features a NUDE FEMALE SHOT in her profile picks!!! She can try to deny it, she may even REMOVE IT as a result of this EXPOSE!!
Her pick features a shop called A Mist from the Woods and the photo shows a naked woman reclining on her back. While we cannot claim to have ever seen the Sus avatar naked, we can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that THIS IS NOT HER in the photo. It may be one of her 'girls' she turned out for the photograph.

Upon close reading of a recent blog post on Pserendipity Daniels' blog, we at Confidential have come to the uncontroversial conclusion that Pep and Seicher are having an AFFAIR!! It is common knowledge that they have been good friends for awhile. Pep used to be featured in Seicher's (or, was it Leia's?) Picks page of her profile. However, last year during all the flame war between S/L and Imafeisty Hammer, S/L wisely removed her reference to Pep to shield him from the fray. If that ain't love, we don't know what is!!!!
Now that Seicher rarely posts on the forum and Pep has been temporarily silenced, their affections have emerged in post comments on Pep's blog.

NEWS FLASH! People Write Using FAKE NAMES!
It has come to our attention that there are readers who are unhappy that some people write using fake names!!! Many, well, most of these readers have fake names, too! Confusing? Yes! Entertaining? Most definately! As one put it, 'No wonder they don't give their names - I certainly wouldn't want anyone knowing I wrote that poorly if I were them.'

We seek someone, anyone in SL who is posting, tweeting, or blogging to step forward and tell us you are doing so using your REAL NAME!! First and last, mind you, and not display names. Why, some have spent hours...days! pondering names. Who might this person be? Or, that one? Are their writing styles the same or different? Didn't they use the word 'jejune' one too many times?
We aim to get to the bottom of this phenomena. People with fake names 'calling out' other people with fake names!! To complicate matters, there are people with fake names who create other people with fake names. Oy ve! The mind boggles. That's one thing nice about SL, your reputation's changeable! You don't have to create an alt to escape your past!
Now, aint that great news to start your week!

TROLL of the WEEK!
This week's Troll of the Week goes out to Scylla Rhiadra! Scylla helped inaugurate the new Identity and Relationships subforum by posting an OP directed at the LGBTI community. Scylla took care to identify herself as 'not a member' and offered to step back if someone 'more qualified' wished to start a similar thread. The mind races to sort out how one would qualify themselves to Scylla! Ten questions, anyone?
