Forum Confidential bows before this week's Troll of the Week! In her 'Forum Apology' OP, Nacy Nightfire lured in the likes of Carole Franizzi, Maddy McMasters, Storm Clarence, LWL Quinn Morani, and more!!

Under the guise of an apology to perpetual airhead, Mayalily Resident, Nacy writes, " I won't offer any excuses for my reaction to her posting, and I am truly sorry if I have hurt her feelings."

All Nacy did was draw Maya's attention to the proper usage of the question mark (?) in the thread 'One day I woke up....' that was recently necroposted. Other posters like Pep and Storm, recognizing a 'teaching moment', jumped in to offer up assistance to helpless Maya (these posts have all been removed).

Of course, once you've ruffled Maya's blonde feathers, you're going to get RIC'ed. Sure enough, Glenn Moderator stepped in to admonish everyone to play nice.

Nacy woke this morning feeling distressed which led her to post the apology to Maya and announce she was leaving to return to the more civil discourse of the Creation Forum.

Say it ain't so Nacy!!!

Interestingly, nearly 100% of the posts following Maya's rambling acceptance of the apology and an exhortion to other posters to beware their language, focused on Nacy leaving. No one wants her to leave!!

Why should SLF be a choice between an intelligent poster and a witless poster?
