EXTRA! EXTRA! NEW SUBFORUM DOOMED!!
The sudden appearance of a new 'Identity and Relationships' subforum yesterday took the SL forumites by surprise. After weeks of harping at LL to create a place where adults could talk about pussy and dick, Amanda caved to the minority cabal and 'voila'. The new popularity of the I&R is reflected in the dearth of threads. Storm Clarence, self-proclaimed master of relationship threads, had his OP yanked within minutes of posting. We caught a glimpse just in time. It was something about SL Pets (not to be confused with SL 'pets'..you know, the collared, submissive kind).
Poor Storm doesn't get it. He pouts when his posts get pulled, ostensibly by his twitter fanz, his public lusting after a woman who was recently married in RL is an embarrassment to him (only he has not yet realized it), and his five known jokes are repeated ad nauseum supported only by his sycophant or alt (details forthcoming), Venus Petrov.
We observed recently that he was demoted from Advisor to Member. This, obviously, a smackdown by mods, led by one of Glenn's Hit Squad members, Caitlin Tobias. Seems that the Hit Squad will hit anything, even one of their own. Brilliant control mechanism. If only Sus would take a lesson.
We will watch how this new subforum develops over the next few weeks. Our bets are on LL demonstrating through heavy moderation how forumites cannot engage in PG-rated discussions about relationships or 'identity'. We believe it would have been better fodder for blogging had Ima Rang's suggestion of suppressing RIC in that subforum come to pass. Unfortunately, since she has no credibility, no one listened to her.

PEP BANNED!
This makes news everywhere. According to his blog he was banned for harassment by Genn the moderator. We think it's the work of the ARtards. Of course it is.

One of our many fans sent us an exclusive copy of this notorious post of nearly one year ago. Seems that the original thread was whacked sometime before the transition to the new forum. However, at least one perceptive reader rescued the relevant information and forwarded it to us.
In it, Nathaniel Scorpio confesses that he spent his formative years in SecondLife as a female avatar. He asserts that he never told anyone his real gender because it was nobody's business. Yes, his was one of those avatars whose profile read something like 'RL is RL and SL is SL'. He also admits to deceiving at least one other, a minotaur (half male, half bull..so for all intents and purposes MALE). An easy admission, surely. Far worse would be to admit to deceiving someone in human avatar form. Forget that all avatars, in whatever form, are operated by humans.
Here is the text of his admission:
"My original avi was female, played as her for two years. I still bring her out now and then as a change of pace. I eventually got tired of not being able to share all of who I am and created Nathaniel.
"I always studiously avoided making an (sic) RL commitments in the time I played a female avi, made it very clear in both profile and chat that I would not give any RL details. My assumption then, my assumption still, is that anyone who was bothered that I wouldn’t provide any verification of who I claimed to be didn’t deal with me and the people who couldn’t care less about who I was in RL did deal with me.
By the way, that’s part of the reason I got tired of playing that avi and am much happier as Nathaniel. I wanted to share who I really was with the people I liked. But I don’t regret the time I spent in a female avi. I honestly think it helped me be a better man. It certainly helped me be a better dressed man."
Well, 'tired of playing that avi' until he feels the need to, again, 'bring her out now and then as a change of pace.'
We ask, does your SL girlfriend, Scylla Rhiadra, know of this female avatar? If Nathaniel is as consistent as he claims, he would tell no one, NO ONE who is his female self. We are confident he has breached this claim.

With anticipation, we dropped into another blog penned by a SL forumite. Like better bloggers, Griffin Ceawlin is intelligent, possesses a sharp sense of humor, maintains a healthy perspective, and leaves his blog open for comments. Check out Meditations.
We have little respect for bloggers who use their blogs to bleat their party line to readers without enabling commentary. Suspiria Finucane's flog is one example. However, Sus has not posted for two weeks now, her time taken up with mindless chirps more in line with her general communication style. Shame one cannot post youtube vids on Twitter.
Even worse, are bloggers who attach their blog URL to public posts yet close the blog to some readers. Such was the case of our recent Troll of the Week, Ima Rang. Ima's blog refects her emotional state. She used to rage against select forum posters with narrative heavily reliant upon psychology texts. She recently replaced all of that with her experiments with machinima. Ima, my commentary on your experiments is tl;dw.

We will be making some cosmetic changes to this blog over the next few days. We are also looking for other contributors; those familiar with various SL forum personalities or not so familiar but willing to dish about them in an engaging and entertaining way!

It is find a school for your elf twins day!
KiaKiwi Daysleeper posts that she is looking for an elementary school for her elf twins! Given that the rate of growth in SecondLife is approximately three years each SL 'day', she will not have to look for long as they will have graduated by the time she vets an appropriate school. What is more important, indeed, urgent, is to find operators willing to take on the onerous task of being one or both of her twins.
One would think that some planning would have been in order before becoming SL pregnant with elf twins but that is part of the fun and excitement of SecondLife -- just do it and damn the consequences!
We wish Ms Daysleeper luck in raising her elves over the next week or so until they are old enough to pay for their own college education. Or get jobs pole dancing. Or take up role-playing. Wait, they are elves...that IS a role.
